Eligibility for Gujarat Solar Penal Yojana

Applicant should be permanent resident of Gujarat state.
Land in the name of the applicant or 100 sq. ft should have his own house in this area.
If the applicant is availing solar panel under any central scheme, he will not be given the benefit of Gujarat Free Solar Panel scheme.
Benefits available under this scheme
To make people aware about the use of clean energy like solar energy in the state.
The state government has set a target of installing solar panels in more than 2 lakh households.
Both the major projects of Radhe Sada Solar Park and Dholera Solar Park have been included under this scheme. Under which more solar panels will be installed.
The entire implementation of this scheme will be done by the Department of Energy and Petrochemicals of the State Government.
Gujarat state government has selected more than 450 power companies from all the big and small states for solar panel scheme.
The beneficiary of the scheme has to follow the rules made by the DISCOM and sign the agreement made by the DISCOM to avail the benefit of the scheme.
